Gammarus (Scuds)

Gammarus are a shrimp-like crustacean that is an excellent food source for medium to large fish. They are also a great clean-up crew in the aquarium, keeping detritus to a minimum. Fish enjoy hunting gammarus and they will reproduce in the aquarium.
